Well done to TAFE NSW for supporting this valuable training, which I was fortunate enough to sit in for a day down in the beautiful Bega Valley. Our case study of Lana in the NSW Northern Tablelands provides a compelling demonstration of the application of Holistic Management for environmental regeneration and production outcomes. After another successful Field Day at NSW Northern Tablelands property, Lana, (read the review here) we received a lot of comments from motivated farmers and land managers wanting to learn more or start regenerative practices on their own properties. The ABC's environment reporter Sarah Clarke looks at the latest green issues and stories affecting the planet. The April 1 episode of The Environment Quarter included a story on regenerative farmer and Soils for Life case study participant, Tim Wright, of Lana, northern NSW. Tim's grazing management practices on his property have built a highly resilient and productive landscape. His healthy soils with continuous ground cover retain water for longer and have enabled him to maintain stock levels even through periods of drought.
