Soils for Life is seeking interested agronomists, soil scientists and specialists in NRM fields to help us to encourage the wide adoption of regenerative landscape management practices.
In 2013 (and beyond) we will be expanding our Information and Demonstration Program to include multiple Field Days similar to that held near Glen Innes on Shannon Vale Station on 21 November. Read more about our first Field Day...
We are establishing a panel of experts - a Technical Support Network, or ‘TSN’ - to provide presentations in their designated region at Soils for Life Field Days.
By coordinating with local specialists we aim to further extend our reach across the country and better support Australian farmers and land managers to maintain or increase their production whilst implementing regenerative practices.
Details are yet to be finalised, but, depending on responses received, commitments are anticipated to be up to three events over the course of the year. All efforts will be made for events to be at a mutually suitable time and place, and substantial notice will be provided prior to any commitment. Soils for Life will cover any travel/accommodation expenses, however speaker fees are not guaranteed at this stage. TSN members would be free to undertake any consulting work obtained as a result of their speaking engagement/involvement with Soils for Life.
Soils for Life will also be seeking TSN members to assist with validating future case studies, should you be interested in participating further.
